Sawanoi, Kou
Summary
Kou is the cousin and fiancé of Ikumi Kyouko. Being her elder, he frequently attempts to look after her, a gesture that annoys her despite his generally dependable and mature nature, a trait Kyouko refuses to acknowledge. Although their attempts to grow closer often result in her resentment, their bond was evidently strong during childhood. Recognizing the tension in their dynamic, Kou considers dissolving the engagement to avoid being despised by Kyouko, for whom he still holds romantic feelings. He later crosses paths with Okudaira Akira on a group date, deeming her cute yet immature. Subsequent frequent encounters lead others to speculate about a potential romance between them.
