Summary
Shuu is the son of the daimyo of the Land of That, a nation situated near the Land of Fire. He was present at an eating contest alongside Princess Chiyo and her father, the daimyo of the Land of This. During the event, Tatewaki informed Shuu that it was time to train, prompting the two to practice kendo using wooden swords. Because Tatewaki possessed significantly more experience than Shuu, the young lord struggled to defend himself until Chiyo intervened. She halted the session by reprimanding Tatewaki for his rudeness. Later, Ino utilized her Mind Body Switch Technique to control Shuu, allowing her to feign a trip to the bathroom. Naruto subsequently employed the Transformation Technique to impersonate Shuu, while Shikamaru delivered a letter from Shuu’s father, the daimyo of the Land of That, informing him of impending events. The Land of This was then attacked by Akatsuki, resulting in the death of the local daimyo. However, aided by Naruto and Tatewaki, Shuu managed to escape alongside Chiyo. Following the incident, the group traveled to the Land of That with Naruto and Team 10.
