Summary
Takemitsu Tanashi is the father of Miyoko Tanashi, also known as Miyo Takano. He makes his debut in the Matsuribayashi-hen arc. Having lost all other living relatives during World War II, his only remaining family member was his daughter. Tragically, he and his wife perished in a bus accident. While on his deathbed, he informed Miyoko that no one else would be able to care for her except for his mentor, Dr. Takano Hifumi. Following this conversation, his health deteriorated rapidly, and he was wheeled into an operating room by medical staff, where he ultimately passed away.
