Summary
Mizune is the family name of a large clan of witches who share a strikingly similar appearance and are associated with the motif of mice. Their speech is characterized by the frequent use of the word "chi," mimicking the sound of a mouse squeak. One member of this family is initially presented as a friend of Eruka. Like Eruka, she harbors deep resentment toward Medusa’s excessive freedom and her habit of bringing Chrona to witch gatherings. Driven by the belief that Medusa endangers all witches while staying at Shibusen, Mizune and Eruka attempt to assassinate her. However, Mizune meets her demise when Medusa detonates snake bombs that she had secretly implanted within Mizune’s body. Following Eruka’s revelation that their relative was killed by a Shibusen student rather than Medusa herself, five members of the Mizune family swear allegiance to Medusa. These five can merge into a single entity that is capable of normal speech. This merged form takes the shape of an attractive young woman with short pink hair, wearing a hat, a long skirt, and a crop top that exposes her stomach and a significant portion of her breasts. This exposed area likely corresponds to the location where the deceased Mizune’s body was originally covered.
