Maru
Summary
Maru is a stray dog encountered by Sawako and Kazehaya on their way to school, eventually taken in by Kazehaya. He was named Pedro Martinez by Pin and given the nickname Maru by Sawako. The character was introduced in the extra content at the end of volume 8 of KimiTodo Friend Notebook, where Kazehaya provided details about him. He was found sometime in September and is jokingly associated with the dog star sign, though such a sign does not exist. His blood type is listed as B, though this is merely a guess. Maru enjoys sleeping, eating, playing, and taking walks. His skills include jumping and shaking hands, the latter of which he has only just learned. His favorite phrases are "Here's your food!" and "Let's go take a walk!"
