Summary
Hailing from Hole, Ai Coleman was originally a shy and reclusive youth who endured neglect from his grandfather. Despite his isolated upbringing, he possessed a sharp intellect, and the lack of engagement in his daily life drove him to boredom and depression. To cope, he devoted himself to reading, specifically focusing on a text about sorcerers authored by Dr. Kasukabe. Although he harbored deep resentment toward Hole and the sorcerers who conducted cruel experiments on its inhabitants, he remained captivated by their powers. This conflicting fascination ultimately motivated him to seek a path toward becoming a magic user.
