Jirou
Summary
Jirou is the Rain Akita, serving as one half of Yamamoto’s Rain Vongola Box alongside The Rain Swallow. Standing at 65cm, this young dog possesses a friendly and sociable personality. His name is believed to be derived from Karahutoinu Jiro, a famous Antarctic dogsled dog. Jirou was constructed using Vongola’s newest technology specifically for Yamamoto, featuring enhanced basic abilities that suggest significant growth in his adult form. Currently, his primary function is to carry Yamamoto’s three short blades, which are forged with Rain Flames. These blades can be wielded by Yamamoto for propulsion, similar to Tsuna’s Gloves, or utilized in combat to slow down opponents through the Tranquility trait of the Rain Flames. Although Jirou has demonstrated the capacity to wield at least one of these short blades, he has not yet been shown using them in active battle. The character made his manga debut in Chapter 240 and appeared in the anime during Episode 167.
