Summary
Nana Saotome, whose full name is revealed in volume 9, makes her debut in volume 3 of the manga and Episode 12 of the anime. She is the source of the cryptic coded message that Ritsuka receives from SLEEPLESS. The two characters meet repeatedly within a special zone of an MMORPG known as Wisdom Resurrection to talk about The Septimal Moon and Seimei. Her primary objective, outlined in volume 5, is to verify whether Seimei actually staged his death. Although she is affiliated with The Septimal Moon, her specific duties within the group beyond this mission remain ambiguous. Saotome displays clear indicators of being a hikikomori, rarely leaving her computer and confessing to Nagisa that she lacks any other friends.
