Marie
Summary
Marie, a nurse stationed on the Sabaody Archipelago, was attempting to transport a critically injured man to a hospital when their path was blocked by Saint Charloss, a Tenryuubito. The Saint refused to allow them to pass and violently kicked the wounded man to the ground, mocking him with a promise to help him die. While Marie knelt in shock, Charloss commanded her to leave with him to become his thirteenth wife against her will. When her fiancé, who had been assisting with the transport, rose to plead for her freedom, Charloss executed him on the spot for daring to stand in his presence. With no bystanders willing or able to intervene, Marie was abducted. She was eventually liberated alongside the other slaves of Charloss’s family following Luffy’s attack on the Tenryuubito.
