Summary
Amai is a medical-nin hailing from Kumogakure. During a mission alongside the Fourth Raikage, his teammate Karai was injured and incapacitated, prompting the group to return to Amai for medical attention. Although the team had successfully secured the necessary scroll, Amai lacked the skills required to treat Karai's condition. While in town, he spotted Tsunade and informed the Raikage of her presence. Despite Karai’s objections, the Raikage insisted that Tsunade perform the healing. When they approached her, Amai pleaded with Tsunade to save his comrade, even though she initially refused due to the strained relations between their nations. He subsequently assisted Shizune during the procedure to extract the Exploding Insect from Karai's chest cavity. He made his anime debut in Naruto Shippuuden Episode #286.
