Tabata, Hidenori
Summary
Hidenori Tabata is a 15-to-16-year-old second-year student at Prefectural Sanada North High School, residing in Class 2-A and actively participating in the Handicrafts Club. Standing 175 cm tall with a Virgo zodiac sign, he sports glasses despite possessing perfect vision. As the de facto leader of the main trio, Hidenori is the mastermind behind their outrageous schemes and wild antics. Although he recognizes the absurdity of their actions, he embraces the chaos because he identifies as an entertainer. Beneath his seemingly stoic exterior lies a mind that overanalyzes trivial matters and suffers from rapid boredom, yet he possesses a captivating charisma that draws others in. His dynamic with Yassan shifted significantly after she noticed his resemblance to the wind-powered protagonist of her novel. This realization made him the center of her attention, instilling a deep-seated fear of her in him. He went to great lengths to avoid her until a botched attempt to impress Yanagi revealed her genuine appreciation for his unique traits. Hidenori’s admiration for Rubber Shooter stems from a childhood incident where the masked hero saved him from bullying, leading him to idolize the figure. This reverence eventually turned into suspicion when he began to suspect his friend Yoshitake was the hero. Despite finding Yoshitake’s behavior irritating, Hidenori remains grateful for the support he provides. His family includes an older brother, Yuusuke, who previously led their group before graduating, a cousin named Emi who spent a summer vacation with him, and an unnamed father who dismissively calls him Megane and mocks his aspirations. He has been acquainted with Tadakuni and Yoshitake since middle school.
