Summary
Kurei leads the Uruha, a cadre of elite warriors contracted to serve Kouran Mori. He assists in missions that Kouran specifically orders him to carry out. Kurei possesses the innate ability to generate and control fire, primarily manifesting as a purple Phoenix. He can absorb souls into his flames to create humanoid constructs that fight under his command. This capacity is not restricted to single souls, as demonstrated when he absorbed multiple souls after an opponent massacred many men late in the manga. Additionally, Kurei employs non-flame techniques like Wakemi, which creates solid duplicates of himself that retain his abilities and skills. In the final arc of the manga, he utilizes Jikuryūri, a technique that opens portals in time.
