Sensei, Katsuko
Summary
Katsuko serves as Ritsuka’s weekly therapist, approaching her sessions with genuine friendliness and a sincere desire to help. She attempts to reassure him that he need not concern himself with his mother’s opinion, though her efforts fail to reach him. Although she feels deep sympathy for Ritsuka because of the abuse inflicted by his mother, she is advised by her colleagues to refrain from getting too personally involved.
