Chibiromano

Summary

Chibiromano, the elder sibling of Chibitalia, served as a subordinate to Spain from the conclusion of the Italian Wars in 1559 until 1713, a period ending with Spain's defeat by the Austrian Hapsburg Monarchy during the War of Spanish Succession. Little is documented about his early life, other than the fact that he remained behind during the Renaissance while Chibitalia studied arts under their grandfather, the Roman Empire. The brothers were unaware of each other’s physical presence despite knowing of one another until Rome vanished and Chibitalia returned. Spain quickly discovers Chibiromano to be a lazy good-for-nothing. He habitually refuses commands, tells useless lies, and ends nearly every sentence with the word bastard. He frequently shifts blame onto Spain for his own misdeeds and is prone to open weeping when embarrassed or upset. This reaction often turns his face red, leading Spain to liken him to a tomato, which irritates him greatly. Beneath his rude exterior and lack of self-awareness regarding his status, Chibiromano suffers from low self-confidence. He acknowledges that he is even more hetare than his brother, noting that Chibitalia is superior in tasks like housework and painting. He assumes that Spain and France only seek to control him to claim his grandfather’s legacy. However, upon learning that Spain once sacrificed to save him from the Ottoman Empire, he manages to offer a thanks, albeit with embarrassment. His distinct behavior toward women compared to men was already evident at a young age. After complaining that the Spanish language is difficult to learn, he uses it to flirt with Belgium in front of Spain. Like his brother, he possesses an erogenous curly ahoge, which he strictly forbids Spain from touching, claiming that the constant tugging feels good and constitutes molestation. He is also capable of dancing the tarantella and is often seen eating pizza.
