Summary
Petrov Hull is a young nobleman from the Honeysuckle family and serves as an ambassador for Longsong Stronghold. He first appears acting as a representative for the stronghold's interests in its affairs with Border Town. Intelligent and observant, he favors calculation over martial glory, prioritizing trade, profit, and practical benefit above aristocratic bravado. This business-minded and flexible perspective distinguishes him from the local nobility. Although a representative of the old order, Petrov adapts to change more quickly than most. Upon discovering that the Church's tales of witches were false, he accepts Roland's side and begins collaborating with the new way of life emerging around him. Later, he monitors Longsong Stronghold for witches to ensure they are brought under the protection of the Witch Union, distancing himself further from the isolation and prejudice typical of the nobility.
