Summary
Ran is a kunoichi hailing from Kumogakure. She is characterized by her short brown hair and blue eyes, typically dressing in a midriff blouse and skirt beneath a customized Kumogakure flak jacket that exposes her stomach. Her attire is completed with red wrist warmers, stockings, sandals, and the forehead protector of the Allied Shinobi Forces. While her specific capabilities remain largely undocumented, she is presumed to be proficient in kenjutsu, evidenced by the tantou strapped to her shoulder. During the Fourth Shinobi World War, Ran served within the Third Division. Her unit was ambushed by Jinpachi Munashi and Kushimaru Kuriarare, resulting in her being knocked unconscious by an explosion unleashed by Jinpachi. She was subsequently rescued by the arrival of Might Guy and Kakashi Hatake, who instructed her to evacuate the area. Despite this order, Ran later rejoined the Third Division and the Sealing Team, a decision that contributed to the successful sealing of Kushimaru and Jinpachi. She made her anime debut in Naruto Shippuuden Episode #288.
