Gomi, Shinichi
Summary
Shinichi Gomi is a student in Sana’s sixth-grade class who initially sports long hair until his father forces him to shave it completely when he enters middle school. After Akito decides to stop tormenting the teachers, Gomi attempts to seize leadership, only to be defeated by Akito with Sana’s tacit approval. During an arc highlighting Akito’s integrity, Gomi rebels against his parents’ pressure to attend a prestigious middle school. He later assaults Akito with the aid of older delinquents and shoplifts, allowing Akito to take the blame before eventually confessing and apologizing. Gomi is frequently paired with Hisae.
