Summary
Olibu serves as the representative for the North Quadrant in the Other World Tournament and holds the title of King Kai's most powerful warrior, surpassed only by Goku. Physically, he is a towering figure with fair skin, long blonde hair, and purple eyes, standing at least two feet taller than Goku with a heavily muscular build. His attire consists of white Ancient Greek-style robes paired with a brown belt and suspenders, while white bands adorn his wrists and shins. He completes his look with large light brown boots and an orange headband. Throughout his life, Olibu performed acts of such great heroism that most Earth's heroic legends are said to be based on his deeds. It is implied in anime filler that the Korin Tower was constructed to honor his memory. Following his heroic life, Olibu earned the privilege to live and train on the Grand Kai's planet, where he was nearing the end of a 10,000-year training regimen when Goku encountered him. During the Other World Tournament, Olibu defeated Chapuchai before facing Pikkon in the quarter-finals, where he fought but ultimately lost. Olibu also appears alongside Mijorin and Maraikoh in a cameo during the movie Dragon Ball Z: Fusion Reborn. In the Kid Buu Saga, he is seen sparring with Yamcha alongside another fighter and joins Pikkon in taunting Kid Buu. Although Kid Buu nearly obliterates Olibu with his Shocking Ball, the villain abandons the attack upon sensing the energy of Goku and Vegeta, choosing to fight them instead. Olibu's final appearance in the series occurs as he watches Goku's battle with Kid Buu, standing among hundreds of other fighters.
