Summary
Making his first appearance in Episode 133, the 18th Fleet Gallery Head Chef serves as a mentor figure to Tajio, though their dynamic initially causes frustration for the younger cook. Tajio admired the Head Chef but was annoyed that he had not directly taught him culinary skills. This situation closely mirrors the working relationship between Sanji and Zeff; much like Zeff, the Head Chef instructed his line cooks while permitting Tajio to learn simply by listening as he washed dishes. Through this method of observation, Tajio successfully mastered the art of creating an exceptional stew, a dish that ultimately impressed several high-ranking Marine officials.
