Summary
Yuutarou Ishii is a detective who operates under the supervision of Detective Gotou. Initially, he harbors a fascination with the supernatural, but his perspective shifts dramatically after encountering it firsthand, leaving him frightened by such phenomena. Despite this fear, his interest in the paranormal persists, leading him to occasionally suggest that supernatural forces might be responsible for certain events. While Detective Gotou holds Ishii in low regard, Miyawaka and Yakumo view him more favorably. Over the course of the series, Ishii evolves into a more confident individual who becomes assured in his own abilities, eventually daring to voice opinions that contradict Gotou’s. He deeply admires and respects Gotou, aspiring to become a detective like him, and he also harbors feelings for Haruka.
