Seeking a way to reverse this, she aims to find a specific book in the Tower of Tomes. Her path crossed with Qifrey when he visited her mother’s shop. Impressed by her natural talent for cutting cloth, which he viewed as a form of magic, he offered to repair a broken winged chariot using magic, allowing Coco to witness his abilities. That night, Coco attempted to draw magic using a book and wand she had acquired. Qifrey intervened just as the drawing triggered an explosive light, saving her but inadvertently triggering the forbidden spell that petrified her mother. Although Qifrey initially planned to erase her memories for breaking the law, he decided to take her on as an apprentice. He recognized her as a potential key to uncovering the Brimmed Caps, a group of witches practicing forbidden magic. Personality-wise, Coco is bright, cheerful, and optimistic. Raised outside the witch community, she retains a childlike enthusiasm and observes even common spells with wide-eyed wonder.
