Summary
Presented as a self-proclaimed genius, Amiba initially studied Nanto Suicho Ken under Rofu. After failing to secure the position of successor, he shifted his focus to Hokuto Shin Ken. When Toki denied him access to his knowledge, Amiba conducted independent experiments that nearly resulted in the death of an elderly man. Following Toki’s reprimand for this incident, Amiba vowed revenge against both Toki and the Village of Miracles. He eventually allied with Jagi, who facilitated Amiba’s impersonation of Toki by helping him mimic the master’s appearance and scarred his own back with a club to replicate Toki’s distinctive mark. Using techniques Jagi provided, Amiba mastered enough Hokuto Shin Ken to successfully pass himself off as the true master. While the real Toki was imprisoned in Cassandra, Amiba ruined his reputation by torturing civilians and martial artists through cruel experiments. Amiba conducted sadistic new pressure point tests on living humans, reporting his results to Raoh. He also boasted of his ability to master any martial art in a short time. In Ten no Haoh, he developed a style that imitates Hokuto Shinken, which he named Hokuda Shin Ken (Needle Fist of the North Snake).
