Summary
Sombart held the rank of Imperial rear admiral while serving under Reinhard von Lohengramm. In 799 UC, shortly before the Battle of Vermilion, he was tasked with protecting the supply route connecting the Imperial mainland to the military base being constructed on the planet Uruvasi. Although he expressed strong confidence in his ability to complete this objective, the supply fleet under his command was destroyed by an Alliance assault. As a result of this failure, he faced punishment from Reinhard.
