Summary

Hakutaku is a Celestial Beast and pharmacist residing in Togenkyo at the Sentou Farm in Heaven. He took in Momotaro as an assistant, teaching the ex-ogre slayer his craft. He lives among rabbits who also learn medical skills from him and help prepare herbal concoctions. Hoozuki is his arch-nemesis, despite their many similarities. Hakutaku appears gracious and charming, making him extremely popular with women, much like Hoozuki. However, he is an unrepentant womanizer who flirts with every pretty woman he sees, including Peach Maki and Oko. Both Hoozuki and Momotaro find this behavior distasteful, though they have come to accept it over time. Hakutaku claims his popularity stems from his admired medical skills, which seems accurate as most of his patients are female seeking herbal remedies. Unfortunately, his philandering ways often enrage the women he is two-timing, leading to him being dumped as often as he gains a new girlfriend.
