Summary

Carolina, also known as Mina, makes her debut in Chapter 3. When the Colossal Titan emerges outside Trost District, the intense burst of steam from its body knocks several trainees off the Wall. Following Eren’s command for the other trainees to attack the Colossal Titan, she participates in the assault. After the second encounter with the Colossal Titan, she is assigned to the middle guard alongside Eren Yeager and Armin Arlert. Although initially tasked with working under the training corps, the group is eventually incorporated into the front guard due to the overwhelming number of titans. Their position is compromised when a titan lunges at the rooftop they are standing on, catching the group completely unaware. Later, when Eren discusses how eliminating titans within Trost District will significantly boost their rank, Mina joins in the discussion, indicating her intention to sign up for the Scouting Legion.
