Summary
Reg appears to be a young boy, but he is actually a robot with no known age, origins, or true name, as he cannot remember anything prior to meeting Riko in the First Layer of the Abyss. Riko named him Reg after a dog she once owned. His body is exceptionally durable, resistant to physical damage, and significantly lighter than its size implies. His arms can extend up to forty meters and are equipped with built-in Incinerator relics. These high-powered beam cannons can reduce almost anything to ashes, but they are considered a last resort because a single shot drains nearly all his energy, causing him to lose consciousness for two hours and ten minutes afterward. As an artificial being, Reg is likely the only intelligent creature completely immune to the Curse of the Abyss, earning him titles such as an Aubade or the Treasure of the Deep. Despite his formidable combat capabilities, Reg is shy and unassertive. He blushes easily and often cries when distressed. Unlike Riko, he becomes flustered in dangerous situations and frequently relies on her judgment to navigate difficult circumstances.
