Ban, Yue
Summary
Ban Yue, the former head priestess of the fallen Banyue Kingdom, appears as a ghost during the story’s second arc. Once over two hundred years old, she was branded a traitor by her people for allegedly allowing invading forces into the city. She is a soft-spoken and sullen individual who is generally unsociable and timid, yet she does not appear easily frightened. While she holds no grudges against those who wronged her, she remains deeply grateful to those who showed her kindness, remembering their generosity for a lifetime. Initially somber, she gradually becomes more lively as the narrative progresses, actively contributing to help others. In combat, her style is described as agile and eccentric, though entirely devoid of aggression. Despite her powerful abilities, she struggles with mundane daily tasks such as cooking.
