Summary
Shukaido served as the team’s physician, a role in which he typically remained in the background. He was characterized as calm, intelligent, and well-mannered. During his college years, he maintained close friendships with Gyokuran and Shion, frequently intervening to soothe Shion’s anger regarding Gyokuran’s popularity. Like the other male team members, Shukaido harbored romantic feelings for Mokuren. He successfully synthesized a vaccine for the virus decimating the moon team, but by that time, he had already contracted the illness, leaving only himself, Mokuren, and Shion alive. He was reincarnated as Haruhiko Kazama. His associated flower is the Autumn Aronia, while begonias represent unrequited love, kindness, politeness, care, and, in English, dark thoughts.
