Summary
Hoko Maho is an athletic, intelligent, and beautiful student who was the star of her middle school. However, she loses the spotlight upon entering Hokuei High School due to Yukino. Maho develops jealousy toward Yukino, a sentiment that mirrors Yukino’s own feelings for Soichiro. This jealousy evolves into hatred, leading Maho to turn the entire class against Yukino. The scheme eventually backfires, causing the class to turn on Maho instead. Yukino chooses to rise above the conflict and makes the first move to befriend Maho. Consequently, Maho joins Yukino’s circle of friends. Although she retains an aloof demeanor, staying somewhat distant and being addressed as Maho-san while the other girls are called by their first names, she gradually learns to value these friendships.
