Kuusetsu

Summary

Initially manifesting as a large egg equipped with two legs and wings, Kuusetsu later takes on a more humanoid form clad in a white kimono with long sleeves and gloves covering her middle fingers. Distinctive dots beneath each eye mark the number of individuals she has consumed, and after absorbing Mira Kamiunten, her hair gains four dark zigzag streaks. When she enters her powered-up state, her hair grows longer and unkempt, her eyes turn black, and her original crown of horns recedes to be replaced by two large horns on her forehead. Her personality is marked by volatility; she is prone to sudden anger, once effortlessly knocking down Rairen for looking down on her. Conversely, she displays a cheerful demeanor around Shikoku and Jouryuu, affectionately calling them Shikoku-nee and Jouryuu-nee, and beams whenever a new idea strikes. As the youngest of the Eight Thunder Gods, she is notably immature compared to her elders, a trait highlighted when she ventured to the Human World against warnings to await the birth of the other gods. This immaturity drives her to act on raw desire and curiosity, leading her to kidnap beautiful women to devour and attempt non-consensual intercourse with Yuuki to understand the experience. She possesses no shame regarding nudity, frequently appearing naked within Yuuki's mind. Despite her youth, Kuusetsu is strong-willed and fiercely loyal to the Eight Thunder Gods, withholding information about them to prevent potential disaster should Yuuki die fighting them. Little is known of her background, though in her larval egg state, she reportedly rejected "food" offered by her fellow Thunder Gods. As one of the eight strongest beings in Mato, Kuusetsu is considered a god. Even as the youngest among Shikoku, Jouryuu, and Rairen, her power is immense, capable of sending Rairen flying with a single punch. Before and after maturing, she can absorb living beings through a large mouth that opens on her body to gain nourishment and development. These absorbed victims serve as living batteries, granting her their traits and superhuman abilities while she adopts their physical appearances. However, this process is not foolproof; those with strong wills can resist her and use their abilities against her from within. If she loses all absorbed victims, she forfeits her nourishment and reverts to her egg form. In her powered-up state, Kuusetsu greatly amplifies her speed and strength. She can transform her hand into a scaled claw charged with tremendous energy for devastating attacks, and utilize the technique All-Killing to multiply her arms and overwhelm opponents with a flurry of punches. She can also detach and fire feathers from her kimono; merely tapping victims with these feathers can render them unconscious, immobilize them, or control their actions. These feathers are also capable of widespread offensive damage, having destroyed most of Mira Kamiunten's clones in a single volley, and she can control them remotely. Kuusetsu possesses the ability to fly, stay afloat, move quickly, and engage in long-distance combat, allowing her to fight more effectively in the air by combining this mobility with her other skills. Additionally, she can produce special "droplets of god" from her saliva, though their initial effects remain unknown. If her body is destroyed, her soul can survive within her host's "spiritual space" where her power resides; while she can see, interact, and communicate with her host in this state, she is unable to interfere with the real world.
