Summary
Daimon serves as the personal butler to Seto Kaiba, though his characterization shifts significantly across different adaptations of the series. In the original manga, he is portrayed as a sadistic individual who not only managed the household at Kaiba Manor but also played a key role in organizing the Electric Chair Ride during the Death-T arc. Conversely, the Toei anime depicts him as a humble elder who, despite Kaiba’s ruthless nature, maintains a steadfast belief that his master will eventually discover his humanity. In the Duel Monsters anime, his backstory reveals that he initially worked for Gozaburo Kaiba. Following Gozaburo’s demise, he transitioned into the service of his successor, Seto Kaiba, and assisted in the abduction of Sugoroku Mutou. Although the character remains unnamed in both the manga and the Japanese version of the Duel Monsters anime, he is officially given the name Daimon in the Toei adaptation and the English dub of the Duel Monsters series.
