Shiina, Tsubasa
Summary
Transferring from Asashiro Junior High, Tsubasa Shiina is a highly intelligent student who aced his entrance exams and possesses a high IQ. His petite stature of four feet eleven inches and feminine appearance often lead others to mistake him for a girl, while his cute demeanor might suggest he is a sweet child. In reality, Tsubasa is arrogant, blunt, sarcastic, and fierce, viewing himself as a genius. He believes soccer comes naturally to him, claiming that no one can beat him, yet he remains a formidable fighter and an exceptional leader despite being only slightly taller than Shō. His uniform number is 4. Initially, his looks and attitude created enemies, including third-years Naoki Inoue and Gosuke Hata, along with two of their friends. However, after Tsubasa saved them from a group of bully truck drivers, they realized they shared similar traits and decided to follow him. He eventually became the leader of the Hiba Soccer Varsity team. During the Senbatsu Training Camp, he grew closer to Shō and gained a deeper understanding of him, securing a position as a regular defender for the Junior Senbatsu Team. Outside of soccer, his hobbies include movie marathons and watching talk shows, and he possesses special skills in self-defense. He enjoys Italian Gelato and has a strong dislike for sanctimonious jerks.
