Summary
Yayoi Aida serves as a reporter for a weekly basketball magazine and is the elder sibling of Hikoichi. Despite her brother being a player for Ryonan, she primarily covers matches involving Shohoku, where she consistently admires the team's performances against formidable rivals like Kainan and Sannoh. During the National Championship, she has the opportunity to observe Sannoh’s exercise training routines. Yayoi is frequently accompanied by Nakamura, a cheerful trainee who recently obtained his driver’s license; although his driving is slow, he handles the transportation between venues. Additionally, she harbors a significant crush on Sendoh, the ace player for Ryonan.
