Summary

Myouga is a yokai-flea who serves as InuYasha’s primary source of information. Although his initial duty involved guarding the gravesite of InuYasha’s father, which housed the Tessaiga, this location was actually concealed within a black pearl in InuYasha’s right eye. The grave was revealed during InuYasha’s first encounter with his elder brother, Sesshoumaru. Myouga typically flees from dangerous situations, yet he possesses the ability to save InuYasha’s life by drinking poison from his blood. He also has a fondness for consuming yokai blood. This habit often results in him being slapped by InuYasha, and occasionally by Kagome, though he remains unharmed due to his immortality.
