Valery Fernand Vandelstam, known by the epithet Van-Fem, holds the distinction of an Elder Title as one of the original Dead Apostle Ancestors. Having survived since the Age of Gods, his transformation into a vampire was achieved through his own magecraft rather than via the bite of another vampire. He deliberately chose the path of a Dead Apostle after pushing his magical arts to their ultimate conclusion.
