Summary
The Colonel serves as the founder of the Golan organization and is a former Red Beret commando. A master of various killing techniques, including deadly boomerangs and the Nanto Muon Ken style, he also possesses extrasensory abilities that allow him to anticipate an opponent's actions by reading their subtle eye and body movements. Once a patriotic soldier before the nuclear war, he lost faith in his country after witnessing the debauchery of his superiors, who boasted about the power of nuclear warfare. Following the apocalypse, the Colonel and his men believed they were chosen by God to repopulate the world with a master race designed to avoid past mistakes. Kenshirō defeats the Golan and fights the Colonel, first blinding him using the pressure point Dōmei and then destroying him with the Hokuto Kaikotsu Ken technique. In the TV series, political changes recast him and his army as fanatics of Shin who worshipped him like a God. In the 1986 movie, the Colonel has a minor role as one of Shin's security officers and is murdered by his master for focusing on Raoh's invasion rather than searching for the escaped Yuria.
