Summary
With Shorter Wong departing New York City’s Chinatown, Su Rin assumes control of the local gangs. Despite this new leadership, his loyalty remains with Shorter, and he is deeply resentful of the Lee family’s alliance with Papa Dino. Su Rin vehemently rejects the deal made by the suits with Dino Golzine, asserting that the gang operates by its own rules and still recognizes Shorter as their true boss. Using these sentiments, he persuades Alex and the remaining members of Ash’s crew to launch a war against the combined forces of Dino Golzine and Daai Yan Lee. Although he is only fourteen years old, Su Rin is far from naive. He possesses a sharp, cunning intellect and is a formidable combatant. His signature weapon, the Flying Dragon Fang, is so deadly that Ash is the sole individual to have survived an encounter with it. While Su Rin displays a notable amount of arrogance, he is honorable enough to acknowledge defeat when he genuinely believes he has been bested in battle.
