Muu, whose name translates to the kanji for "nothing," served as the Second Tsuchikage of Iwagakure. He first appeared in the manga during Chapter 515 and in the anime adaptation of Naruto Shippūden at Episode 256. Renowned as the "Non-Person" due to his mastery of perfect camouflage, Muu can blend so seamlessly with his surroundings that he appears to lack both physical form and chakra while the technique is active. Because he is virtually undetectable by ordinary means, he holds deep respect for anyone capable of perceiving his presence. Muu is also a wielder of a powerful kekkei touta known as Dust Release, an advanced variation of kekkei genkai. This ability allows him to merge fire, earth, and wind chakra natures to disintegrate opponents down to the molecular level, reducing them to mere dust. His prowess with this technique is considered equal to that of Ounoki, another dust-user, as their clash using the Dust Release: Detachment of the Primitive World Technique resulted in a chaotic stalemate with no clear victor.
