Summary
Sentarou Maeno serves as the head coach of the Seishū baseball team. Having led the program for an extended period, he holds significant recognition and influence among regional coaches. His tenure was previously interrupted when he was demoted to coach the prefab team following the appointment of Coach Daimon as head coach. Prior to this demotion, Maeno was characterized as a lenient and somewhat weak leader who valued the enjoyment of the game above winning, often prioritizing third-year players in matches. However, the conflict with Daimon reignited his competitive drive, transforming him into a strict strategist. He channeled this new intensity into leading the prefab squad to victory in their rematch against Daimon’s first-string team. Following Daimon’s dismissal, Maeno was reinstated to his position as head coach. While he possesses deep baseball knowledge, his reputation for success was largely unproven until Seishū’s recent string of excellent performances brought his coaching abilities to the forefront.
