Summary
Hikaru Sakuraba hails from Saitama Prefecture, where she was born on January 25 under the blood type O designation. A left-handed individual, she serves as both the biology instructor and homeroom teacher for class 3-C at Ryōō High School, which is where Kagami studies. Beyond her educational duties, she holds the position of captain for the Lucky Star informational ad section, a role that has since been rebranded as "Lucky Paradise." Her relationship with Akira is complex; while initially feared by the latter, Akira eventually labels Hikaru as a betrayer. In her personal life, Hikaru shares a close friendship with Fuyuki, who works as the school nurse. Her preferences are quite specific: she enjoys CalorieMate and sleeping, while harboring a strong dislike for vegetables and individuals who tend to jump to quick misunderstandings. She makes a brief appearance in episode twenty-four of the anime, where she ensures that Akira and Minoru, who are currently at odds following the events of episode twenty-one of "Lucky Channel," act appropriately.
