Gareki
Summary
Gareki is a fifteen-year-old boy with a birthday on May 21, standing 170 cm tall with type O blood. His name carries a poetic meaning, with "Ga" translating to "flower" and "reki" to "gravel" or small stones. He survives by robbing the mansions of the wealthy, a lifestyle that stems from a childhood marked by poverty. This background has made him dislike oatmeal, a food that reminds him of his past deprivation, while he has a fondness for all kinds of meat. Although he never received a formal education due to his upbringing, Gareki possesses a high level of intelligence and specialized knowledge that rivals that of an expert in his field. He is particularly fond of meddling with machines and mechanisms, and he secretly enjoys observing the internal structures and systems of the Circus Ships. He also harbors plans to investigate the sheep at some point. To fill his time, he reads books on practical topics before bed, often falling asleep in the position he was reading. Socially, Gareki is distrustful and avoids associating with others, projecting an arrogant attitude that hides his true nature. Despite this exterior, he is actually gentle and caring, though he makes sure no one else sees this side of him. He is a skilled shooter and is rarely seen without his gun. In the Karneval Drama CD, the character is voiced by Kamiya Hiroshi.
