Summary
Born in Meiji 38 into a wealthy family, Tamahiko Shima is a young man who turned seventeen on September 1, 1905. Just a year before the story begins, he suffered a car accident that claimed his mother's life and left him with the complete loss of use in his right arm. As part of the aftermath, he was given his family's mansion in Chiba, along with a bride purchased for ¥200,000 to assist him in his daily life.
