Summary
Arachne is the elder brother of Kurai, originally believing himself to be the rightful heir to the throne. After Gehenna is attacked and razed, he learns the painful truth that he was merely a decoy designed to shield the actual heir, Kurai. Filled with bitterness toward her, he makes a pact with Lucifer, facilitated by the Mad Hatter, which results in a spider demon being sealed within his chest. Adopting the guise of her cousin to infiltrate her life and assassinate her, he eventually develops genuine affection for her. His secret identity is uncovered by Voice, leading to Voice’s death at Arachne’s hands. In the end, he sacrifices himself to become the 999th bride of The Demon Lord, ensuring Kurai’s safety.
