Freddie
Summary
Freddie is a mute who bears an uncanny resemblance to Freddie Mercury. Hayashida once remarked that as long as Freddie attended, Cromartie High School would essentially serve as the "Olympics for delinquents." While everyone assumes he is mute because he never speaks, he actually possesses a strong singing voice, and the only time his voice is heard is when he sings. He arrives at school riding a horse, and his presence in Japan remains unexplained.
