Summary
Mamoru Uda is a human whose body was merged with a Parasite, similar to Shinichi, though his parasite lodged in the lower portion of his head rather than the brain. This entity, initially unnamed, is later given the name Jaw. It possesses a crude and brash personality with a distinct sense of humor, occasionally seizing control of Uda’s mouth to contort it into bizarre shapes and compel him to speak inappropriately. The duo befriends Shinichi and Migi but generally prefer to steer clear of conflicts with other Parasites. Due to his slightly overweight physique and the parasite's location, Uda often becomes winded during battles. However, the parasite’s position offers a strategic advantage: it can extend downward into his chest to shield his heart, a vital target in Parasite duels. Professionally, Uda works as a hotel employee. While he is typically a peaceful and easygoing individual, he tends to become nervous under pressure and is prone to tears.
