Keldeo

Summary

Keldeo is a quadrupedal, colt-like Pokémon featuring a cream-colored body, a short rounded snout with large nostrils, and blue eyes. It sports a large feathery red mane, long dark blue ridged eyebrow-like protrusions, and a single slightly curving cream horn. The back of its head and neck are covered in fluffy light blue fur. Keldeo possesses backward-facing blue hooves capable of ejecting water, and its tail is light blue with white spots, resembling an elaborate feather in a cap. Historically, during a war that ignited a fire in the Moor of Icirrus, Keldeo was separated from its parents. Cobalion, Terrakion, and Virizion rescued and raised the orphan, acting as its parents and teaching it survival skills and knowledge. Keldeo eventually grew to surpass the three Pokémon before disappearing from the forest. Upon their reunion, the trio taught Keldeo the move Secret Sword, continuing its training under the guidance of the Swords of Justice. While Sacred Sword was a signature move in Generation V, Keldeo typically roams the world, appearing at beautiful watersides to train and improve itself. It can walk across water by ejecting water from its hooves. Keldeo has two forms: Ordinary Form and Resolute Form. Learning Secret Sword triggers a transformation from Ordinary to Resolute Form. In this state, the head protrusions shorten and lighten, resembling ears, while the horn turns dark blue, grows larger, and becomes ridged. Three aqua blue, green, and orange feathers appear on the side of its head. The Resolute Form represents Keldeo’s full power, with a body filled with energy that enhances its speed and jumping capabilities to nearly untraceable levels. The forehead horn contains hidden power, capable of transforming into a sword that can cut through anything. It is believed that enduring harsh battles is necessary for the horn to develop, thereby awakening Keldeo’s true power.
