Summary

Chizuru Naba is a gentle, motherly, and loving member of the Astronomy Club who possesses a somewhat strange personality, particularly when it comes to her sensitivity regarding being called "old." With brown hair and blue eyes, she is known for her kindness toward everyone, volunteering at a daycare center in Mahora City and demonstrating exceptional domestic skills, including her ability to cook well. Despite her sweet nature, she can be quite intimidating when necessary. Her courage was notably displayed shortly after Golden Week when she rescued an injured dog that turned out to be Kotaro Inugami, a young half-demon boy searching for Negi. When the powerful demon Graf Herrman attacked and kidnapped Chizuru after she intervened, she stood her ground, even slapping him to protect Kotaro from being petrified. After Negi and Kotaro defeated Graf Hermann, Chizuru effectively adopted Kotaro, arranging for him to live in their dormitory under the guise of being Natsumi's younger brother. While she remained on the sidelines during the mock-battle at the festival, she actively participated in the search for Chao, winning a gift pack which she then intimidated Kotaro and Natsumi into keeping secret. Her roommates include Ayaka, Natsumi, and Kotaro. Notably, she has the largest breasts in her class. Author Ken Akamatsu has noted in character notes and the Negacha Workshop that Chizuru bears a strong resemblance to Mutsumi Otohime from his previous series, Love Hina.
