Summary

Colette, known as the Chosen of Sylvarant, is a gentle and selfless young woman who consistently prioritizes the needs of others above her own. Throughout the story, she displays a notable clumsiness, with her frequent stumbles triggering strange yet often helpful phenomena, such as creating holes in school walls or disabling sophisticated machinery. As the only hope for Sylvarant’s regeneration, her upbringing was heavily sheltered to ensure her safety. She can be somewhat naive, frequently overlooking details that are obvious to everyone else, yet she possesses a profound understanding of kindness and can "smile and forgive" nearly any transgression, a trait noted by Presea. Colette tends to conceal her struggles from her companions, particularly regarding her condition, Chronic Angelus Crystallus Inofficium. This secrecy often frustrates Lloyd, who wishes to support her, but Colette despises causing others worry. Although it is suggested that she harbors romantic feelings for Lloyd, she remains reserved about her emotions. Instead, she demonstrates her loyalty by staying faithfully by his side, allowing her actions to convey her true feelings. In battle, she serves as a ranged combatant, wielding two chakrams.
