Katsuyu serves as the slug queen and primary summon for Tsunade. Unlike the more boisterous Gamabunta and Manda, who are the summons of Jiraiya and Orochimaru, she exhibits a quieter and more subservient demeanor toward her master. Utilizing her Slug Great Division technique, she can split into numerous smaller slugs to avoid incoming attacks or perform minor tasks, and she is capable of rapidly recombining into her full form when necessary. Additionally, she possesses the ability to spit a corrosive substance known as Tongue Tooth Sticky Acid, which is potent enough to dissolve rock.
