Summary
Angeletta is the granddaughter of the formidable Countess Isabella Montovani, known as the "Ice Queen." Her father, Count Adolfo Montovani, was the countess’s sole heir, while her mother, Giovanna, came from a common background. Tragedy struck early when both parents died, leaving Angeletta unrecognized by them personally. As an infant, she was entrusted to Marchelo Rossi by Lady Isabella, though her grandmother initially refused to accept her. Raised by her foster parents, Marchelo and Edda, Angeletta grew up to be remarkably kind, a trait that stood in sharp contrast to her foster brother, Anzelmo. She possessed a strong artistic talent, demonstrated through her detailed sketchbook and personal journals. However, her life was shadowed by a severe, long-standing heart condition. During this time, she formed a deep bond with Romeo, who affectionately nicknamed her his "Angel." Along with the rest of the Black Brothers, Romeo worked tirelessly to bridge the gap between Angeletta and her grandmother. They successfully persuaded the "Ice Queen" that Angeletta’s intentions were pure and not motivated by a desire for the Montovani estate. Consequently, Countess Montovani agreed to take custody of her granddaughter and transported Angeletta to Paris for specialized medical treatment. Before their separation, romantic feelings had already blossomed between Romeo and Angeletta. In the Tagalog dub, her name is localized as Angelita.
